Parents gifts 💕

I got these semi-personalized (you can change skin tone/hair/outfit) mother-of-the-bride and father-of-the-bride mugs. I'm actually planning to send them with their save-the-dates so it's not my final gift. Just thought they were super cute and practical.

I got my Dad a framed description of our last name/coat of arms.

I am paying to have my Mom's and my Sister's hair/makeup done on the day of the wedding. I also got them a bunch of toiletries and will make them a mug and makeup bag with their name with my silhouette cameo.

I am getting my niece and nephew (6 year old twins) some toiletries, a case with their name with my silhouette cameo, and a bunch of toys/crafts.

I am giving all of these gifts as a thank you for being in my wedding (December 21st) and a Christmas gift!

Lol, well my dad recently passed away and I am purchasing my mom's dress and paying for her hair and makeup, so shouldn't that be "gift" enough?

Oh man ... i just included my mom in with all the bridesmaids gifts. since she'll be in the bridal suite with us i got her the robe and slippers and a nice necklace and a hanger for her dress. paying for hair and makeup. and my FH included my father in his groomsman gifts ... I planned on getting them both a nice frame with a picture of us after the wedding but should i get something else also??

My FH and I are on the same boat-ish. His dad passed a year ago so he's buying his mom's plane ticket/hotel room + her boyfriend's. And my family isn't well off so I'm getting their plane ticket/hotel rooms. AND our siblings with their significant others...that should be "gift" enough?

If I get the chance to do it over again I'd still do it, just cause I do want my family to be there so I'll pay for their travel and accommodations. But I think I'm unsure if I should get another "gift" for them?

Andrea, I agree. If my family were not close by, I'd purchase their flights etc. My FH's Mom, sister and brother all live in another state and he is paying for their accommodations as well.

SAME. My planner had an allotment for parent gifts in her budget for me and I was like WHAT?! LOL!

I got my Mom & MOG hankies with a letter that I wrote to them on it as well as a jewelry/ring holder.

FOB: I was able to find this really cool hammer on Etsy which had something like "Thank you for giving me the tools to build my life" on it. Got the same thing for FOG.

Step dad: Found a compass on Etsy and I was able to engrave it with a little note from me

Also bought the dads engraved watches to match the groomsmen.
