Parking for backyard wedding

Hi Everyone!

We are doing a backyard wedding and I don't know how to arrange parking Like, can I just walk into a church I've never been to before and ask to use their lot (with a donation, of course). Or can we use the shopping plaza parking lot that's down the street? I just don't what the rules/ etiquette are for this sort of thing.....

It has some great ideas for a backyard wedding plus, an entire section on parking which says your ideas on renting a lot nearby are totally acceptable! You always want to make things easier on your guests if you can- the article suggests that if you use a lot down the street, try to provide some sort of shuttle.
