Party after the wedding?

Ann, on February 14, 2021 at 2:52 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 3
So long story short our venue sucks. And it’s too late to book else where. So we decided to do a destination wedding my original plan was to Invite everyone that I already invited to our wedding. But just got word back from the Airbnb we are renting and they do allow events but only up to 30 people. So that just covers the bridal party and immediate family. I want to do something for the people who aren’t able to come! Whether it’s a cook out, party by the lake, you know just something! I feel terrible that we are only allowed 30 people. Any one else do something similar?

An after party after the reception or a. vow renewal type reception a month or more down the road? Complying with state safety regulations, take a look at eventective.com

I'm not sure your venue is actually being honest with you. If you check out Airbnb's website, they are only allowing 16 or less people due to Covid so I'm very surprised they told you that you could have 30 people. I've attached the rules below. You could definitely plan something for extended family, but some might be disappointed that they missed your actual wedding or they might not want to travel for a destination wedding if they don't actually get to be at the actual wedding.

Have you checked out local places you can reserve from parks & rec? Sometimes they'll have big pavilions or areas you can rent for an event!
