Evening wedding couples: What time is your reception scheduled to end? Are you partying all night or wrapping up early? Would you go later if it was an option or are you happy with the end time? {photo from Shabby Chic Georgia Barn Wedding by Brandy Angel Photography }

Too early for specific details but we have determined ceremony start at 4:30 and wrap up around 10pm. Pur venue has strict policy that building be cleares of everyone and decor by midnight. Want to make sure my coordinators peeps have plenty of time to do so. They said need a least and hour. Giving a little extra time if we have stragglers to kick out 😂

Our reception ends at 9PM. Ours is a 2nd wedding so many of the guests are older....our parents are in their late 70's/early 80's. Also, we want to have a romantic wedding night. We leave for Italy the following evening...so we are not partying into the night!! LOL. Everyone has their own preferences!!

We're still 9 months out. So we don't have everything nailed down but the ceremony will start at about 4. We have the building until 1, depending on how we book our honey moon will probably determine how late we party!

    6pm ceremony
    6:30 cocktail hour
    7:30-11:30 reception
then after party at the hotel for anyone staying there /up for it.

I suppose that could be considered late but so what! It’s a celebration who wants to go home early? I’m typically the “old lady” that wants to go home early but this is a party.

Slowly! Ha ha. We are still in the early planning phases but narrowed down to 3 venues that can accommodate rel="nofollow" a 1:00am reception. That part was very important to us given the holiday. How about you? You don’t have too much longer to go!

In Wisconsin weddings usually go until midnight and then to a bar for an after party! I like going to bed early so we'll see how long I last. I'd say 11-12 but I think older family will leave whenever.

This is exactly our timeline. They offered us an after hours space at their bar, but I don't know that I will want to. I love having fun with our friends, but I just know I will be worn out by 11 pm.

The ceremony is at 4pm, the reception ends at 8pm. Husband has to leave for work at 4am the next morning. But me and other guests will head to a bar and party the night away, or I may end up asleep much earlier.

7:00 B&G Introduction, Short Welcome And Thank You, Dinner Begins (Buffet Style)
    7:30 First Dance
    7:40 Father/Daughter Dance
    8:00 Cake Cutting
    8:30-10:30 Dancing
    10:45 Last Call, Last Dance, B&G Send-Off

We have our venue all day and there is a ton of stuff I haven't included before the ceremony begins (vendor arrival times) but basically a 6-11 wedding... I'm still working out the kinks but I am sure it will be fine the day of lol

We have our venue until 10 but my FH Ana I will be leaving around 9 Smiley smile I’m a night person but he is not. It’s going to be a long day for us both as is and I know that we will both be really excited to leave together as husband and wife (lol as long as we aren’t completely exhausted). We don’t live together and have been waiting for this for a long time Smiley winking

Ours ends at 8, but the hotel we booked has a lounge for anyone who wants to continue. We have the venue from 3 to 8.

Mine ended at 11:30 but people stayed talking and taking picture till 12. I wouldve ended a little earlier because I was exhausted. I had to be at the church at 8am and got like 3 hours of sleep the night before

    Ceremony - 7:30pm

    Reception - 8:00pm

    Reception Ends - 11:00pm

We have the barn until Midnight, however we will have to use that last hour to get everything packed up and cleaned up.

We are ending at 10:30. We would love to do an after party with snacks at the venue, but it just didn't work with our budget. Plus, we're getting married on a Sunday, so only a handful of people would probably want to hang late. We will definitely party in our hotel room if guests are interested and we aren't falling asleep ourselves.
