Party Favors - How to make sure your guests take them?

Hey yall! So I have a question... where did you put your favors for your guests? Did you go ahead and place them at the table with each plate? Did you have them placed on their own table with a cute sign? Where did you put this table? Inside/Outside? To me, it seems like guests would get caught up...

Hey yall!

So I have a question... where did you put your favors for your guests?

Did you go ahead and place them at the table with each plate?

Did you have them placed on their own table with a cute sign?

Where did you put this table?

Inside/Outside?

To me, it seems like guests would get caught up in the excitment of your send off, (sparklers and glow sticks etc) and not think to go back and get their favor?

So what did you do/are thinking about doing?

We put our favors at each place setting. There was a sign on each table explaining the significance of our favors and how they tied into the theme of our wedding. They were bags of mini Reese's peanut butter cups. We took some home but mostly just the extra bags that I had put together. Most people took theirs.

Mine doubled as the escort card. I wasn't really intending to do favors, I just wanted a unique escort card, so it worked. Check with your venue to see their suggestions. Some venues charge extra to put them on each place setting, some venues (like mine) offered to have someone at the door giving them out on the way out. If all options are open, then I think someone giving them out at the end of the night or placing them at each table setting is best.

We are doing Disney accent cookies for our wedding favor. Since they are on the expensive size I’m only buying enough for each guest. We will placing them on everyone’s dinner plate. That way it’ll insure everyone JUST HAS 1! Example for our Ariel table we are doing the dinglehopper and mermaid tail cookie from this picture. The picture is from my actual baker I’m using to do the cookies. She did this for a previous customer.

How'd you go about getting it I know of a place near me that sells stuff from their farm (produce flowers honey) but wasn't sure if I should just buy it as is or ask if they will make other arrangements.

Also you could just put them in people's pockets as they leave (joking) I'm doing baskets around a table with some childhood pictures of my FH and me to draw people to it. I'm a sneaky little bride 👰
