Passing gas in front of SO

I delivered our child, he held my legs while I pushed. Farting? Bahahhahhaa!!

We definitely do. He is the room clearer though, my goodness, they are terrible! He apparently read somewhere that smelling farts can help prevent cancer and since then, everytime he lets one loose, he tells me he's just helping me out LOL. I don't think mine could ever be as bad as his, he goes to the gym and drinks alot of protein shakes, that definitely doesn't help anything!

He gets so mad when I fart in front of him. It genuinely bothers him. Doesn't stop me though.

During one of our workouts, we do jump rope, and like clock work when he is jumping for thirty seconds, every time he comes down he lets a tiny fart out. For thirty seconds. Its so funny.

I don't. I have, but not on purpose. I have IBS so sometimes I just can't help it. He farts a lot and I hate it lol. He stinks.

I just don't think it's polite. I won't #2 either. But I will pee. And yes he watched me deliver our daughter, and all the gross fun things that come with and after pregnancy.

We don't make a habit out of it, but if it happens, it's not the end of the world obviously. I kind of make it a point not to fart or #2 in front of anyone, so I'm not sure why FH would be any different. We don't #1 or #2 with the door open either. It's just the way we are.

I have been with my FH for almost 10yrs and the only 3-4 times i have farted in front of him were accidentally done Lol - He on the other doesn't give a shit. He actually thinks its cute when i fart cause i never do it and our 8yr old laughs at me cause I wait for him to leave the room - When he comes back to the room she yells "Daddy, mom farted" and they both laugh at me Lol

I would be so uncomfortable if I had to hold in my farts around FH! He accidentally let one rip early in our relationship during sex and that was the end of holding them in for either one of us!

Also, to the people who don't like to fart in front of their SO: if you guys sleep together, sorry to tell you, but you've farted in front of each other. Everyone farts in their sleep. There's nothing you can do about it!

Ha! I've been with FH for 14ish years. I fart sometimes specifically to bother him! LMAO like right when he walks in to go to bed.....we don't hold back and I tell jim "hey, better out than in" After so many years we both can really care less. Now my son is a different story...he can clear a room! His silent bombs are deadly! (And yes, my 8 year old son calls his own farts silent bombs)! LMAO

I farted on our first date, i told him i was natural for everyone to do it. I wasnt going to hide it from him, thats silly, we are getting marred if he cant handle me farting or I cant be that comfortable with him, we will never make it. What happens if we pretend with eachother and then one day one of us has to deal with something worse than a fart? Is it time to. give up then?

We both have no problem farting in front of each other. His are usually stinkier than mine, but when it's that time of the month I have horrible, horrible gas. I don't even remember the first time we farted in front of each other but it was many years ago.

We pass gas in front of each other all the time. Depending on the situation we would a heads up!

We probably do more often than we should lol. There is such a thing as being TOO comfortable.

Farts are fair game in our household. Mine are usually noisy, and not usually smelly. His have the capacity to clear out our 800 sq. foot condo. They're RANK. He's lucky he's cute because damn, they're bad lol.

Lori - i did the same thing to FH one time! the worst part was it was while i was on top! i tried to play it off but he said he felt it on his.. uhh jingle bells lol (where are the laughing so hard im crying emojis when you need them! lol)

i usually try to hold them in when im around FH but they slip. it happens.. obviously haha FH lets them rip though bc i have no sense of smell so they dont bother me at all. hes so accustomed to farting around me he forgets were in public sometimes lol

I love this topic and it always amazes me how many people think farting in front of their SO is bad. I had a friend once who wouldn't even go #2 when her SO was in the house in case he heard her.

FH started farting in front of me maybe a month into our relationship. It was hilarious. I started in front of him shortly after. By accident at first, it happened while I was taking a nap at his house after a long day at work. When I woke up he told me all about it. We laughed, I was a bit embarrassed for a minute but that was it. The rest is history. I plan on having children with this man. I am sure he is going to see and hear a lot worse then a fart.

I try to leave the room anytime I have to pass gas, regardless of who's in the room. I just think it's polite. Obviously, accidents happen and I just excuse myself, but I'd rather not subject anyone to that.

He doesn't hold back and neither do I, it's a normal body function.

All. The. Time. Hahaha love discussions like this. My while family on my mom's side is very open about their gas, so I grew up used to it. The first time I went to FH's house in high school, I walked in to his mom lighting candles and his dad cracking up on the couch, and then I got hit with the smell...I immediately knew I'd found the right guy!!

We wake up in the morning and just laugh because we both let out all of our gas right when we wake up... It's like a symphony. We actually farted in unison yesterday and we were laughing for a good five minutes. I can't imagine how uncomfortable I would feel all the time if I didn't just let it out!

Yep! And neither of us feel any shame. Lol.
