Hey Kirst, have your sister see if she wants to do any of these songs? Good Luck.

Proud to be an American by Lee Greenwood (I think he sings it). Always gives me goosebumps.

That's a lot of different songs! Does she want that many? If it's entrance for each bridesmaid/groomsmen you won't even really get to hear the song!

I'm trying to figure out how this is going to work... how much of the song is going to be played while you enter?

When my cousin got married in June, the entry of the bridal party (not counting bride and groom) took two minutes MAX, and they had 5 attendants on each side!

Its the entrance into reception.....? every wedding I have ever been to each "couple" has always had a diff song... its just like the chorus so you can dance into the reception & be introduced

When you enter the song wont last long.... I would just choose one for all, maybe do a seperate one for the Newlyweds.... but otherwise you may just heard a few notes or words from it.

At my wedding last month we did the chorus of a diff song for each of our BP "couples" and we had 5...it worked out fine. the chorus played while they each were introduced & danced their way into the reception hall, so yea it took like 3 mins and everyone got a kick out of it

Judith I heart you. Smiley smile

We used 2 songs and it was PLENTY:

1 for the parents and wedding party - 8 entrances when you count his dad, my parents, and each set of attendants

    1 for us

I think if you do a separate song for each individual entrance, it kills the momentum a little bit. You want people on their feet clapping and cheering the whole time, if you pick one song that keeps building as the parents/WP enter, it gets people more excited!

If it worked for you to do the chorus of each different song that's great, but it seems like it could get lengthy! We only did one song for our whole wedding party. Do you have any Toby Keith songs?? I think he's got some pretty good USA songs!

I've been to a wedding where they had a diff song for each set....it's really exciting and it's a chance to give a different personality or feel for each couple entering

There are arguments for/against more than one song. If you introduce each member of the wedding party with something that connects them to the bride and groom, they work out really well. If you just want different songs and announce their names... not so well.

If you don't plan to make the connection... you're better off sticking to one or two songs max.
