Hey everybody! The governor in PA recently issued new restrictions across the state and now the restriction for indoor gatherings is less than 25 people including staff. Our wedding is 12/5/20 with 170 guests and there are talks that this won’t be lifted until February 2021. Philadelphia specifically imposed that but our wedding is in Bucks county. We spoke to our venue and coordinator so far and both are available 5/8/21 if we postpone. Of course our DJ and photographer are paid in full but still need to check with them and others on their availability. Does anyone have any additional info on these restrictions and is it wise to just postpone at this point? Even just other people wanting to vent about this is welcome!

I'm so sorry about that news Nicole, this is all such a tough and unpredictable situation for everyone! Smiley heart

I've seen a few PA posts spring up in response to Gov. Wolf's recent announcements, you should definitely join in those discussions as well:

Hi there! Our wedding is in Bucks County in October and as far as we know, our venue is setting up outdoor dining tables under tents. We are getting married on a farm and much of the reception will take place outdoors, on top of the ceremony. We have a guest count of 120, but won’t know for sure the final guest count until August 31 (when the rsvps are due). I hope everything works out for you!!

Hey Brittany! I’m glad you guys are good to go! Our venue offered a tent but the wedding is in December and I didn’t want a tent wedding so we declined. The whole point for me was to appreciate the beautiful building that we were at. We moved our wedding to May now so knock on wood it all works out! Thanks for responding and I hope you have a wonderful time at your wedding!!
