Peonies in August

I need to follow this vecause im looking for burgundy peonies for my ausgust wedding.

I'm not sure where you're located but I'm in eastern Ohio. I'd shop around if I were you. I would like peonies in my bouquet (July 21st wedding). My florist told me she can't promise peonies but if she finds them, my bouquet would be $25 more than one without them, which is reasonable to me.

I have seen them on fiftyflowers but they are super expensive. You only need a few to make a big impact, though. Maybe splurge on a small amount and just use them in your bouquets.

Peonies in August won't be reasonably priced. Talk with your florist about alternatives. There are flowers that look similar to peonies.

I wanted burgundy peonies for September as well. Our florist does local flowers only so she said it may not be possible and expensive. She told us burgundy garden roses would be very similar and in season. Sorry couldn't see what colors you are having.

When you want out of season flowers, grown in a green house, it's next to impossible to get them at a "reasonable" price. On the other hand, you define what is "reasonable " for you.

David Austin Roses are an alternative

I really wanted peonies too for my December wedding. My florist was able to find them from a South American grower so I had them in my bouquet, but it did add another $40 to it. It was worth it to me.

Thank you guys so much for your help! I'll have to check out fiftyflowers, and the garden roses are a beautiful second choice. I'll let you know if I find any other great options!
