I can't believe that my wedding is over and I'm still getting backlash from people who were not invited. It's amazing how adults can actually have the balls to come to you or post on Facebook, asking why they weren't invited. Is there no shame anymore?? These are people who I don't even know where...

These are people who I don't even know where they live. We don't hang out. They hardly talk to me. I see them once in a blue moon. I've never been invited to there events. They are co-workers I just met last year. I know them through other people or they are my mom's friend's children.

Someone posted on one of my pictures...that she couldn't believe I didn't invite her. Mind you, I haven't seen or heard from this woman since before she added me as a friend, 5 years ago. I don't even know where she lives or her phone number.

One lady saw another one passing by at work and she said really loud, "Were you invited?? Because I wasn't invited!"

I was like, I didn't invite a lot of people. So, you're not alone. lololol

Lizz, that Full House picture has me dying! Oh my gosh.

Yardiegirl, sorry these people are giving you a hard time. Tell them to feel free not to invite you to their next big event so they can feel like they got their revenge Smiley smile

I am continuously getting backlash from one particular person. We were childhood friends, hung out a few times in my 30’s, but I have not seen her in years. I invited her to my 40th bday bash because she kept asking. Then she shows up with 2 random people I don’t know and take advantage of my open bar. Fast forward a year and a half later, to my wedding. I did not invite her, I do not hang out with her, I don’t talk to her on a regular basis and my now husband had only met her 1 time in the 9 years we been together. What was she expecting? I have been married for 17 months and just received a random text about not inviting her to my wedding. Unbelievable!!! Should I respond??

Yes I had this same problem... we did a shotgun wedding planned in 1 month. A lot of people didn’t even know u til we posted on Facebook but we paid for everything ourselves and couldn’t afford a huge wedding. It was kinda annoying to explain that to people. Just congratulate and move on.... however some people don’t realize that’s the right thing to do.
