What if your “Aunt Flo” is supposed to be coming to town right before your wedding? Any advice?

This sounds like a great way to land yourself in the ER.

I would just prepare for it! Pack pain killers, ice packs & heat pads.

Definitely discuss your options with your gyno. Some pills are fine to skip, but some aren't designed to do that, so I would definitely talk to a professional to make sure you're treating your body kindly. Other than that, I plan on having an emergency bag if it's due around that time with extra undies, tampons, wipes, midol, etc. That way if it happens, I'm prepared to handle it.

I was supposed to get mine the week of our wedding, but I skipped my inactive pills about 6 months prior. Don't skip them the week of your wedding because you might still get your period. It takes a little while to get your body back on schedule, but within two cycles my body was totally adjusted. I was completely miserable for two months though. I had terrible PMS symptoms after I skipped and until I got my first period after skipping. So if you want to skip it, skip your next cycle so your body has time to adjust.

My period's scheduled to be wrapping up like, the day before my wedding so I plan on wearing period panties just in case. They've worked really well so far and it'll be much easier than having to worry about changing pads or tampons or anything on my wedding day.

I personally used the sponge method a couple times to try it and it worked great. so those girls knew what they were talking about.

I'm really afraid of this. I could care less about the bleeding and the bloating and the cramping - it's what my period does to me emotionally! I can get VERY depressed or have random panic attacks, and my thoughts become super cloudy for the day right before i start and the first two days of. I'll know I'm about to get my period of I'm super sad for no reason and can't do basic math in my head lol.

My wedding isn't until 2020, so i plan to do a trial with some birth control. Hopefully i can find something to help. Otherwise I'll have to try and predict my cycle 14 months out, which is possible but not fool proof.

Mine will, my uterus is always looking to embarrass me. I will just start the new pack of birth control to gain the upper hand!
