FH and I are past the big plans (vendors, food, dj, etc.) and are on to the details of planning. I want to have cute little details that make the wedding more "us", but I'm struggling to not make my wedding look like a Pinterest board threw up everywhere! What details did you ladies add to make your...

What details did you ladies add to make your wedding more "you"? Any suggestions? FH and I LOVE movies, reading, FH loves Space (aerospace engineer) and I'm a high school English teacher. Maybe we're just not interesting enough for cute, fun details! (Kidding...kind of!)

I blow glass...we made our cake topper together...first time FH had been at the furnace. It has both our breath in it. It's a girl thing. He is an avid shooter and gun collector. He is wearing his Colt Peacemaker, as are our GMs. Our "theme", if you want to call it that, is elegant western, so it fits.

My FH is a marine and so are my brothers so my brothers will be wearing their dress blues as ushers and I am also having his camo name tag stitched inside my dress. And since I am a huge harry potter nerd I am having a decal put on my shoes and maybe giving FH something HP related to wear. Oh and my FH is building our wedding arch so he is engraving our favorite bible quote into it along with our wedding date!

Our guestbook! We do a lot of puzzles together! We'll probably do cat-related favors or decorations of some sort as well.

Personal touch in our wedding is our venue which is Foxwoods. We love to gamble and have fun, so that was the big personal thing to us. To me there will be very small hints of butterflies in our decor which is a representation of my grandmother, who is no longer with us. It's my way of honoring her and having her with us that day.
