My mother says that in the end, they really don't make a difference and they will just be thrown away. Were they worth it? Will I regret it if I do not purchase them for my weddign?

We are not getting them, not really worth it. I can think of so many more things we can spend our money on. They do look nice, and they are a temptation though.

I wouldn't bother. Think of it this way: they certainly won't make or break your wedding and they are just going to end up in the trash anyway. Get regular napkins and save your money or put it towards something else. Smiley smile

I had them for my first wedding. Two years later, we were still using them I don't think they were worth it. Although, it was a good reminder.

I don't think they are worth it. Most people won't even notice and they just get thrown out. I'd put that money into something else!

Definitely not worth it, Rick wanted them but I thought they were a little cheesy.

We are having them, but I won them from a contest the printing company was having. If I didn't win, then I probably wouldn't have got them.

U can get them alot cheaper. I am getting only beverage. They will look nice in my scrapbook and are nice to give with drinks.. I ordered alot of stuff from this site... beverage napkins are 50 for $15. so u dont have to get as many and u could always do like white monogramed ones and then black plain and mix them.. ( white and black symbolized your weding colors.

You can buy some plain napkins and micheal's have stamps you can buy to personalized yourself. Google diy napkins.

I went for it and got two boxes (think it was 200 of them?) in our olive green color with our names and wedding date printed on them ... I know they'll just get wet from having glasses rest on them or tossed in the trash, but I just wanted at least one personal touch (since we were careful not to pick a favor that had anything too personalized happening ... as I read somewhere that unless it's food, favors like that get tossed).

And like others have said, I'm ok with using them at parties next year if we have a ton leftover. :-)

Party City DOES have a ton of colors to choose from -- and if you feel you really want fun cocktail napkins, maybe get a very small amount of them (like 50) and just use 'em at your shower, rehearsal dinner or bachelorette party or something! They're probably more likely to be noticed and commented on at smaller affairs like that

I do not plan on getting personalized napkins. I do plan on getting napkins with hearts on them but nothing fancy.
