Personalized Retro Hotel/motel Keychains

Has anyone here made escort cards using retro/vintage hotel or motel keychains? I'm trying to look for the most cost effective way to do this without just using cardstock. I'm attaching skeleton key bottle openers to them, but I want each keychain to have have our guest's name and their table number as their "room number". Most websites is a bulk order for one design rather than an engraving for each person's name and table number. I'm also doubling these as my guests' wedding favors so I don't just want to use cardstock.

I found blanks for $1 each. I’m contacting some engraving companies near me to see how much it would cost for me to give them the blanks and have them do the engraving. The ones where I can personalize on Etsy are around $12-15 each, which is a lot more than what I wanted to spend haha. That would be like way over $1000 additional on my favors 😳

Oops I’m sorry I just realized after that you said you wanted each to be engraved by name. I think that will cost a lot more because it’s cheaper for companies to print multiple of the same design. What if you gave everyone a keychain with the same design for your wedding and attached a small tag on key ring that has each guest’s name? Just an idea!

That’s a good idea! I may do that. I still haven’t received quotes from any of the local engraving places here. I wonder what would be a good design. I doubt they’ll probably want our names and date / logo for their personal keychains haha! I’d want it to be something they would use after the wedding.
