That's cool you're not limiting flower duties to girls!
When I did a simple google search it does look like it's all geared to girls
But I think this is just the opportunity to make it your own. Instead of doing something cliche like giving a flower necklace to a girl to ask her to be your flower girl you could even just get the kid simply something nice he would like unrelated to flowers

I got my ring bearer and flower girl personalized puzzles. I figured they don't care if it is wedding themed or not. You can always add a wedding themed card for the actual ask.

You could get him something cop themed like a shirt and sunglasses to stay within the petal "patrol" theme! If he's younger, you could do a Pet Patrol (it's a younger kids tv show) stuffed animal and put flowers with it, or just used the play on words when asking. Good luck!

I got my ring bearer and junior ushers the small Lego sets and made them cards. You can make the wording however you want. Each of mine were slightly different.
