    Have a paper cutting party.

Some one can cut the two straight lines on each long side.

Then someone else with patience can cut the rounded edges.

@hayley do you think this can be done with the rack cards from VP?

    @ Lov3always

It would take 1 order of 50 free for each "petal"

so the example above would be 3 orders of rack cards.

I don't see why not. The rack cards are a nice stiff paper and would make a great fan

    (IMO)

There is a kit you can buy.. i tried to do it.. & the edges are rough to cut corners. i mean if you have paper cutting tools already (corner cuts etc) that would make it easy also with a regular paper cutter.

this was too expensive for me.. I have like over 400 expected guest to my ceremony

This site calls them petal fans. or i call them panel fans. either or will bring up the website if doing a search. this was the only company i could find that had the precut panels.

As others have also stated they can be very tedious to cut. How many fans are you needing?

Petal fans are our most popular products and the best advice we can give DIY brides attempting to do fans is to make sure you start in plenty of time in order to get them done. It is definitely a time consuming task.

Let me know if I can be of any help, there a few pics on my profile if it helps.
