pewter vases issue with real flowers?

Why would she lie to you? I would trust what your florist told you since she has probably been doing this for a very long time and taken countless classes.

I have never heard this but I wonder if it's because pewter used to contain a lot of lead. Of course vases still could contain lead because they're not made for drinking. They do make a little plastic thin liners for vases.

Will a plastic cup fit in your vase if not look at church supplier or something like that for vase liners.

I did not say she lied to me. I search on Google and did not see anything. Insert would work if needed. Also have glass vases that I can use.

I don't see anything saying it will. Maybe try a few in there and see, you could buy a cheap dollar store case to put inside if need be.

If course hydrangea pick up iron, copper and stuff in the soil and it changes colors of the flower... Maybe that's why...
