Philadelphia Suburb Venues with outside catering

As you may know, it can be difficult to find a venue that allows you to allow external caterers due to liability concerns. They want you to use either their caterer and pick off a list of approved caterers.

What I would recommend is you working backward by finding a caterer you want to work with, or speaking with the caterer you’ve already chosen and ask them what venues they have worked at before! This would be a great way of finding venues that you know allow external caterers and that your caterer is familiar with!

We haven't picked one yet but feel pretty strongly against traditional caterers. We're hoping to have our wedding catered by food trucks in a mixed indoor/outdoor setting. I've found a few places that seem to fit that need (including one or two that have had food trucks before) but it does appear to be hard to find places that may be able to accommodate this.
