Photo booth or no photo booth?

Can't decide on if a photo booth is worth a few hundred bucks or if I'm better off putting that money towards other things. opinions?

    UO- I think it is a "know your crowd" situation combined with what you want at your wedding.

    I have been to weddings with them and they were a hit! I have also been to weddings where they were such a hit, people would rather wait 35 minutes on line for the photobooth than dance. Were the guests happy? Sure! They chose to wait! However, the bride and groom, after the fact, were kind of upset about this.

    But echoing a PP, I have never been to a wedding and felt like I missed having the photobooth. So I think it's really up to how/if you want to spend the money.

    I think this is a very person-specific question, so it's really ultimately up to you. I personally think photobooths are hideous, tacky (the look), and don't fit into the aesthetics of most weddings.
