Photo booth

Leah, on March 11, 2020 at 8:06 AM Posted in Planning 0 10
Hello everyone!

I’m trying to decide between two photo booth companies based on their packages. One offers 3 hours at $750 and the other one is unlimited time for $895. So, my question is-do I spend the extra money for the unlimited hours? Or how much time do people really spend at photo booths anyway so should I just go with the 3hr package for less?

How many guests are you having? How long is your reception? If you're having a large wedding, it could take a while for everyone to get to use it. A smaller wedding would probably be just fine with 3 hours.

Take a look at your estimated day-of timeline and see what fits - I want to say that our post dinner/cake cutting/first dance time that was open dance floor for guests was no more than 3 hours, so that would definitely be a sufficient amount of time! If you do unlimited, you could also have it available for cocktail hour if that works for your set up. So really just think about what's in your budget and how you want guests to be able to use it, but 3 should be enough if you're looking to save a little $$ Smiley smile

Unless you’re having a particularly large wedding, three hours seems like a lot of time.

For that amount of people and if you add dinner speeches and dances I’d get the unlimited.

I'd try your keep it for the length of the event. Let pll have fun, mingle and get to it whenever they feel like dancing on over to it. But those prices are outrageous!! I have a couple days rental for hundreds less.

Are you having a cocktail hour?
Truthfully speaking I’ll tell ya that people don’t use it while dinner is served but they do before and after they’re done with dinner

I'd get the unlimited. I think the photo booth was super popular at every wedding I have attended so far and there is always a flow of people heading there. But you know your crowd best.

We are doing unlimited but only because it comes with my DJ package. It gives people something to do at cocktail hour. If I had to pay extra though I don't think I would. I would do just the 3 hours.

I'd do unlimited! We had over 200 guests, and our photobooth was a hit! It was used from 3:30p-6:30p but would've been used longer if we had it longer! The girl operating our photobooth, actually, said our photo booth was one of the busiest ones she's had at weddings!
