Photo Booths: Overrated or Underrated?

I think it depend on the wedding we want our reception to be a huge fun part. If it was a super elegant wedding it would. It look right. We found one for 200 on Groupon and fits in perfect.

Underrated. I think if you can find one at a decent price they can be a real hit at weddings.

UNDERrated.
I had one and it was fun. Guests love photos and although the whole wedding is a photo opportunity , the good ol fashioned photobooth is an added experience

I think photo booths are a ton of fun but they can be so expensive and you don't get them for very long...at least that's what I've experienced.

Overrated, nowadays everyone is taking photos on their phones. Most of the printed photos they take from a photo booth will probably end up in a drawer and never be seen again. It’s not worth the price to pay when everyone is gonna be taking photos on their phone.

Overrated, but we are going with the magic mirror photo booth which to me adds a different feel to the photo booth. We'll see how it works out.

Overrated. Very expensive and takes attention off of the reception as a whole.

Overrated. Seems like an unnecessary expense for things that can be easily done diy!

Overrated....I will be doing a picture wall for the guess that want to have their pictures taken.

Overrated. That money could be spent better on something else. I do think they're fun, though.

I feel like it’s overrated and strikes me as cutesy. I saw a DIY for s backdrop I love and want to create for people to take pictures, but almost everyone has a decent camera in their pocket with them at all times. I don’t see a reason to pay for a photo booth when a DIY backdrop will cost me under $50.

Overrated. That's why you pay a photographer and give them a list of shots to take.

Overrated...I'm already paying enough for a photographer, and people have phones to take selfies.

Overrated these are a waste of time and money. I haven't been to a wedding were it seemed worth it.

Overrated. We are doing a make-shift one with stuff we already had to buy for something else, but I never would've spent the money for a rented one.

Underrated. They are neat and provided entertainment for those who don't dance, drink, etc. I think they are appropriate for all ages.

Overrated but I think the reason it has become so popular is that people love taking pictures and they also double as a favor for some people. It can be quite expensive though.
