Photo Op!

I am finalizing my shot list for our photographer and I am curious, what were some of the must have photos that you thought of? I am talking about apart from the typical ones of the kiss, the cakes, etc.


For example, I want to be sure to get one of the bridesmaids and my mom/FMIL praying over me and the groomsmen and my dad/FFIL praying over FH before the wedding.

    Our flower girl is our daughter and I’ve seen some adorable pictures of the flower girl in the wedding dress and/or looking up at it hanging so I definitely want to do something like that.

    Oh my GOODNESS that is so precious! I can imagine a side-by-side of her now in your dress and her in her future wedding dress (if she gets married). I would be bawling lol.

    I'm not sure if this will help but my FW and I took a picture with our sons last new year's day that we are excited to recreate on our wedding day. Us looking at each other and our sons on either side of us smiling into the camera, it's a shot full of love in so many ways. Do you two have any pictures you would like to recreate? We are getting married on the beach so there will be shots of us walking along the water and sitting on the dunes, typical. I often think I might want a shot of me walking while she stands behind me holding my hand, maybe I would have my head turned toward her. She is always slowing me down when I get worked up so it's cute and a bit symbolic.

    One of mine is having the veil over both of us. I also want a photo of the crowds reaction when we do our kiss as husband and wife.

    I’m definitely planning to create keepsakes for her and our son for when/if they get married! If nothing else, it can be the “something old.”
    Im also kind of obsessed with silhouette pictures and since we’re having an evening wedding I want to try creating a couple.
