Photobooth: inside or outside the ballroom? **pictures**

CN&AK, on November 24, 2014 at 3:40 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 13

So my ballroom is pretty big and I am having 120 people where I can fit 350 ppl banquet.

Extra huge dance floor and bar is inside the ballroom.

Should i squeeze in photobooth so that everybody in the same room?

The ballroom will have romantic candle light feel to it with bubble tea lights hanging from chandelier.

Space is not a problem: i am worried about vibe.

I'd say if a photobooth doesn't fit the vibe of your elegant wedding, don't do it at all. But then again I am not a fan of them.

As a guest I wouldn't want to essentially leave the wedding to go outside and use the photobooth. I'd be thinking what if I miss something or wait I want to listen to this song.

Outside is private too… We have the whole 2nd floor to ourselves.

People even do cocktail hour right outside during winter or 2nd bar.

I am putting the bar in between those two Persian rug painting on 3rd picture.

Wedding is elegant until the dinner service. After that, it's dancing, dancing!

I am having buffet.. So, I do will have people moving around a lot.

I agree with the "out of sight, out of mind" comment.

If you want people to use it, keep it close-by.

I'd suggest to keep the photo booth in the ballroom! Smiley smile Unless you want lots of your guests out of the room for the majority of the wedding. OR like Mrs. K said, sometimes people don't even know it's there if it is out of the room. Plus, then there's no music! It feels like a completely different area/event when the photo booth is completely out of the way.

If you want it to get used, put it in the ballroom. Ours is going right next to the bar to maximize its useage

I agree with the ladies that suggested in the ballroom and right next to the bar.

Here is a question for you: do you care more about the vibe or whether or not the photobooth is being use to its full potential?

If vibe is more important, leave it outside the ballroom for out of sight, out of mind.

If you want to get the most bang for your photobooth rental money, leave it by the bar so people actually remember to use it.

I agree to leave it in the ballroom even if it is in the corner. Guest will forget about it once they are inside the reception space! Beautiful venue by the way!

As a photo booth business owner I would advise you to have it in the area where your guests will be. I have done events with it inside and outside the main area and the inside main area gets more participation and makes it enjoyable for the guests. Put it in the ballroom. I have a similar venue and I am putting mine in the large ball room. I am setting up a kids play area in a smaller room video gsmes, coloring books, games etc. With some teens to watch younger kids.
