You can try Thumbtack.com. They give you a list of photographers and videographers in your area. They also ask for the price range that you are looking for and they give you ratings, long the vendors have been in business etc. (they give you a run down). In my experience with Thumbtack, the vendors usually get back to you with that day of requesting them or the next day. I have used them for a couple of vendors and I was satisfied with the service that I received.

I second WW vendor search. They have everything and you can also check your local FB groups, there may be some posts from photographers for hire. And make sure to look through the portfolios so that you'd have an idea of their style and the services they provide. Some photographers also offer discounts if you book the particular package of services or do some edditions like a Smartshow 3d slideshow for free. There are also people who work with videographers and you book 2 in 1 which would come off cheaper.
