Hey everyone! Does $80 per 12 edited images sound reasonable? Its not charged per hour, just in image count.

Thanks❤️

For wedding or engagement pictures? If wedding pictures this seems very strange. I received over 1000 edited pictures from my photographer.

I would keep looking. That's not a good deal for your wedding day. I would like for photographers that provide at least 200 pictures minimum. Definitely compare costs and packages. Try Thumbtack.

I thought so at first. It was initially for the engagement photos. Then I thought maybe this gives me an opportunity to "customize" what shots I want during the wedding and create or build my own package.

You should ask if you get to pick out the pictures. Like will the photographer take 100 pictures during your engagement shoot and you can pic 12 for them to edit them then it might not be to bad. We got back around 200 pics back but a lot of them are similar or not my favorite if I had to narrow it down to my favorite it would be about 20-25. You should also ask if you are able to purchase more later.

That seemed a bit high, most photographers in my areas provide no less than 500 images and have a second shooter + 8 hour timeframe for $2-3k

I ended up paying $80 for my engagement pics and we got about 50 back.... it was for a 1.5 hour session but 12 is way too little...

Thank you! I was just checking cause I thought the same. I was thinking maybe I could just pick the ones I want and make a "custom" package type deal. I'm still in contact with her so I'll see if I can negotiate

If not then try Groupon!! That’s how I found mine at that price.. otherwise it would have been $400ish for the same...
