Hi Ashley and congratulations!!! We did both and I am so glad that we did. Hiring a Videographer is well worth it and captures much more than pictures ever could. You definitely get to relive the day over again. We decided to host a gathering, so that family and friends get to experience it again, as well. All the best in whatever you decide. 😊

I've seen videos with a drone opening sequence showing exteriors, so I'd ask for that. Sometimes videographers have photo booths or are part of a photography team. But, should they be separate vendors, they should be professional enough to stay out of each other's shot.

I never thought to do videographer, but FH wants one!!

As PP said, check with your photographer to see if they have someone they work with or recommendations. And then watch videos just like you would in reviewing photos because there can be a huge difference in tone between one photographer to the next. Then I would look at what they include, such as full ceremony, highlight reel, highlights with real sound vs background music, etc, to make sure you’re getting what you want.
