Photography Poem to Encourage guests to share their images

Kimberly, on February 6, 2013 at 9:46 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 7

We are planning on leaving disposable cameras on the reception tables to encourage our guests to take photos. We also want to encourage guests to text or email their photos that they digitally take to us. Does anyone know of a poem that encourages guests to do this? We would like to frame the poem and place it on each table.

I don't know of a poem. Maybe look on Pinterest for inspiration or google? However, I have heard bad things about leaving disposable cameras out. I wanted to do it too but instead now I'm going to just do a poem/spy game and have a link for the guests to upload them to. Here are two sites that were suggested to me...

I'm planning to use the phone app: Wedding Party. You can post pics of you and FH and your guest can posts pics on your big day. And all pics will be on a timeline as if telling a story in time line order. Check it out www.weddingpartyapp.com

If you go thru wedding turtle which is FREE then they will send you free business cards with the site to upload your pictures from your guests phones or cameras.

We are doing I Spy and wedding turtle as well. Plus cameras on cell phones these days come out way better than disposible cameras. Disposibles have a film that is low res and slow speed, that is why most action shots come out blurry.

I was planning on going the disposable route but now am going to do both - I'd never even heard or thought of doing it in a digital manner - thanks ladies!

**edited** I also love the I Spy poem!

You can also us something like Lensmob.com to get a private email address for your wedding for those folks who aren't big on installing new apps or creating accounts.
