Photography - What did everyone pay and what did it include?

When i was looking, it was around $2k for photography alone.

We paid $2,300 for two photographers for an engagement session, 10 hours of coverage on our wedding day, 500+ edited photos on an online gallery and USB, and 25 prints (we actually ended up with 30 prints because she had a special going on right after our wedding where she was giving out 5 extra prints for free). She was extremely cheap compared to most of the photographers were we got married, but she also traveled from another part of the state where pricing is a lot cheaper. Location and experience will greatly impact the cost of a photographer. I will also add that I would be hesitant to use a friendor (friend that's a vendor) because I've heard some truly awful stories from other brides who used friendors.

We paid 3k for two photographers for 8 hours and our engagement shoot was included.

From what I’ve seen $2k-$3k in low cost of living areas and $4k-$6k in high cost of living areas.

Depends where u live. Here in northern NJ it’s between $3 and $6k.

It varies SO much depending on where you live. In our area in CO most packages started around $3k and went up from there.

Adventure elopement specialist photographer. $2000 for two shooters, hike up to our ceremony spot and camping overnight with us. Worth noting that their prices were about 2x lower than similar services in our area.


We haven’t discussed but I only have an expectation of photos the day of. Not the day after on the hike out.

We're paying about 3k for a photographer and videographer.

We’re paying $4k for two photographers, 9 hours, an engagement session, and a 10x10 album in So Cal.

We paid $2k for 2 photographers (they ended up sending a third at no cost because she was a trainee) for 5 hours

I paid $1600 for 2 photographers all day (about 11 hours) in central NJ.

I personally paid $6k for the photographer I’ve always wanted. That included engagement session with 100 photos, bridal portraits for an hour with 200+ photos, and 10 hours of coverage on the wedding with a second shooter and an assistant.

We’re paying $1500 for 4 hours + engagement session.
I’m curious as to the price and discount your friend is offering.

Here in MD ours was $1250 and that included:

-An hour engagement session

-Six hours for the wedding

-And an edited digital album with unlimited pictures.

Ours was a little over $3k

I’m in Connecticut, and we are paying $3200 for two photographers, 10 hours, and the engagement session is included. The price also includes 500+ prints, the rights to all of our photos to print how we like, and a keepsake box to keep photos in.

Well it certainly depends. I know a lot of people are giving numbers in the thousands but I used the app thumbtack to find someone in the hundreds. If you want to save a little money I suggest looking for photographers who want wedding experience. That being said this is a risk .... but if you really are trying to save money it is possible to pay less then 1,000

This is her prices. This doesn't include the discount. That varies depending on which one I choose. I guess I should be more Greatful after reading all of these! Lol
