Photos of the ceremony

Hey ladies! I’m printing my photos at home and wondered how many of you printed or selected a lot of wedding ceremony photos for your album? Most of ours are of us just standing there listening. We didn’t do a unity ceremony or anything “exciting”. I know the whole thing is about the ceremony and I’ve printed off a few, but looking back are those the ones I’m going to want to ooooh and aaaah over? Just wondering what most of you have done.

I did not print every single photo either, that's for sure. there were lots of duplicates and stuff. but i think if you already have a photo album then printing enough to fill it is fine or just choosing the key ones.

Your special day will be memorable no matter what Smiley heart !! Our wedding was supposed to be at the beach but that didn’t happen because of Covid-19. However, we did an outdoor wedding anyway, and took pictures there and at a second location, a beautiful lakeside park and garden. You’re right though, most of the ceremony pictures were pretty boring 😂 except the sand ceremony, which I thought there were too many pictures of LOL. We’re glad there are at least 20 pictures that we like a lot and at least 5 of those that we adore, one of which will be our formal wedding portrait to frame. Enjoy married life!

We put a fair few ceremony photos in our album, but we had a great backdrop of the river and the city we live in, plus a handfasting, so we've got some really pretty shots. However, we've got even MORE saved to our computers.

Print out whatever YOU want. It's all about the pictures that make you two happy!

The only ones from our ceremony that we actually had printed were when we were exchanging rings, one from our unity puzzle ceremony, the kiss, and a wide range shot showing everything! We had way more of the "newlywed" photos printed than anything else!

We have a few pages of our wedding album for walking down the aisle (one page is photos of our bridesmaids/groomsmen, next page is our grandparents and my husband, and next page is me walking down the aisle and my husband's reaction to seeing me). After that I think we have about 2 or 3 pages of photos from the actual ceremony. We probably put more than most because my brother was our officiant, so I threw in a couple really cute shots of him talking or laughing, when you could just see the back of my and my husband's heads lol (like if the officiant wasn't my brother though, I wouldn't have bothered printing those). Then I have one of me reading my vows, my husband reading his vows, exchanging rings, a shot of my husband passing me a tissue and me laughing (lol), my husband stepping on the glass, a couple of our first kiss (my husband dipped me so I put one photo of the beginning of our kiss and then one of the dip Smiley tongue ), and then a recessional photo. Also threw in a few photos of our families during the ceremony (our photographers got some really great shots of the front row, of my mom and grandparents smiling, and my father in law crying hahaha).

Even though a lot of the ceremony shots are very similar, I actually felt like we had a good number that were pretty different, so that's why we put so many!
