Picking your date

Hi Neicy, my fiance and I did the same thing. His birthday is on the 17th and mine on the 12th, so we ended up picking 29th of May. We wanted Spring season because Spring represents new beginnings. That's how we selected our date, and I am so happy about it because it also falls on Memorial weekend, so we can always expect a longer holiday for our anniversary celebration.

We both love the holiday season so December was a perfect month to choose, and I discovered that 12/11/21 is a palindrome (the number are the same in both directions), so I just thought that was a cool date to have!

We picked out date based on what dates our caterer and photographer were available...not ideal but hey! We knew we wanted it to be in the fall and spots were filling up quickly.

We picked our wedding date according to our dating anniversary

So this is actually our 3rd date! I knew I wanted a spring wedding that was easy. So I picked April 16th but that was Easter weekend so then we choose may 7th, well that’s Mother’s Day weekend so I threw my hands up and said May 14th and that’s final! lol luckily the venue we booked was very understanding !! It is our anniversary of dating! We pushed our wedding back a year so we could have it on a Saturday

We decided on the date of when we first met, but that didn’t work out with COVID and changing plans so we moved our minimony to the day before which happens to be my husband’s birthday! Our vow renewal will now be on our original date (the anniversary of when we first met).

We chose our son's due date as our wedding date. Funny thing is, we had planned to go to the courthouse before I got pregnant with him and the date we decided on ended up being his due date so we believe this date was just meant to be special for us lol.
