Piercings during ceremony

Personally, I think it would look the most elegant to just wear earrings in your main piercing. I think it would look prettier and a little nicer for a wedding than having earrings all the way up.

I have my nose and six piercings on my ears. I debated on if I should put in a retainer for my nose and go earring-less except for two in my ears and I decided against it. I decided I want my wedding photos to accurately represent what I look like and who I am. If you like them then rock them. If you don't like them then just wear however many you feel comfortable with. I'm sure you will look fabulous regardless

I feel the same as PP Shalott. I'm changing out my nose hoop to a diamond stud, but otherwise I'm rocking all my piercings and tattoos and crazy colored hair. This is who I am and how I look. My only suggestion would be to change out your earrings to smaller studs for a more coordinated look. Maybe some small diamond-look studs?

I have 9 piercings in my ears and I will be wearing earrings in all 9 piercings because I want to look like me. You can't go wrong either way so wear what you really want.

Personally I would do two in both. I love a small stud on the top(one above main piercing) and second (main piercing) something slightly dangly. But it might be because thats what my mom did and it was always classy.

I would just do what you are most comfortable with and if that's all your earrings in then wear them the people in your life know and love you for who you are earrings won't matter.

It is you. If that is you, that is the woman your FH is marrying. Why would you change that?

I wear a hoop in my nose and know how you feel! I'm going to wear my smallest stud in it at my wedding. My piercing (though small) is part of who I am and, like Shalott said, I still want to look like me =)

Look like the best you you can look like. if you don't like all the earrings, take 'em out. if you do, rock earrings in every damn hole.

I say keep them!

I have 4 in one ear & 2 in the other. I will wear my small hoops on my daith & tragus & dangly ones in my main piercings. It hadn't crossed my mind to take them out. I will be covering up my tattoo on my shoulder blade though (I regret getting it in the first place though)

Oh dear - I read this thread title and thought this was going to be a unity ceremony gone bad. Glad to see I was wrong.

I have 3 piercings in my right ear and 4 piercings in my left ear. I wear small "diamonds" in each one all the time, anyway (I only ever take out/switch out my main piercing). I just bought pretty new ones so they would be shiny and clean haha. I tried to attach a picture to this but honestly, you really can't even see them in my wedding pictures!

I'm rocking my earrings and tattoos. However I saw this ridiculous wedding idea where she blinged up her tattoo with metallic body ink and I'm seriously jonesing for that. Stupid. But fun.

I had to post to say...based on the title, I was totally expecting the thread to be about getting piercings during the wedding! Like as a unity ceremony or something.

I agree with wearing them all but maybe all small diamonds. I don't have many piercings but I'll be surely showing off my tattoos!

Same, @Jessica! One of mine will be clearly visible in my dress. Asked FH if he thought I should cover it and he very sweetly said no, because it was part of me. He also has a tattoo, though it's on his back and won't be visible.

LOL @OKD, and @AMW those are gorgeous! This would look really pretty on a bride getting henna, though that is cultural tradition and maybe adding bling would be frowned upon.

If you have a piercing studio near you, they can assist in picking or creating a piece or pieces that would be very bridal and utilize as many or as few of your holes as you like. There are so so many options when you have the holey canvas already there! :-)
