Pig roast reception!

We have searched all of CT for a farm/Barn venue that would fit our budget and came up with nothing we loved. So we are going DIYS! We have the yard and ideas but it's challenging pulling it together! 100 people tops, backyard pig roast is our idea with ceremony on site! Our families are willing to help with cost but I want rustic pulled together and comfort and cost is just astronomical! Any pics or ideas would be helpful! We have found some pig roasters that specialize in receptions and my ideas are off white linens with burlap accents, and most all will be wearing cowboy boots. Im starting to feel like I live on Pinterest! I'm open to all and any ideas!

    Chances are having your wedding in your yard won't save you any money. Tent rental, chair/table rentals, renting bathroom facilities, it's going to add up and fast. DIY often ends up being more costly and so much more work that I'd argue if it's really worth it.

    ETA: I see you're having professionals cater the pig roast *sigh of relief*

    What ideas are you looking for?

    I personally don't like the thought of a pig face staring at me during a wedding.
