Brian is right, pink eye you have to go to the drs or go to CVS Minute clinic, to get rid of it you need eye drops, anitibiotic, and if its pink eye, its highly contagous.

If he woke up with crust on his eyes, that is a sign it is pink eye. And you might catch it by touching the faucets and then putting your contacts in, rubbing your eyes, etc...

You don't want it too???!!!! Have him get looked at Saturday AM.... DRAG HIM.

I have had pink eye before and it does not just go away. That man needs a doctor. It can become a huge infection, he can spread it and I have heard cases where people ignored it and wound up getting their eyeball removed. I wish I was exaggerating but I am not. Make him go!

Brian--- I was a medic in the Army for 8 years. Handled plenty of conjunctivitis to know what is prescribed. It may however be an eye allergen. The way the doctors can tell is the way the red is forming in the eye.

GET. HIM. RX. EYEDROPS. It will not go away by itself. I shouldn't tell you this, at least without the disclaimer DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME. I cured a case of pinkeye once when I was chopping hot chili peppers and absentmindedly touched the inside corner of my eye b/c it itched. I never got as far as contaminating the food b/c it felt like I burned my eye out. Lots of rinsing with water, and...well...it was gone. I bet that isn't exactly safe, though.

Seriously, Rx drops are faster, more effective, and SIGNIFICANTLY less painful!

Well, ladies. all of you were rite. if its pink eye it wouldnt clear up in time. & it didnt! however, I dont think its pink eye. its more of an eyelid issue than a pinkeye issue.

Pink eye IS an eyelid issue.... seriously, he still hasn't been looked at????

Conjunctivitis is swelling (inflammation) or infection of the membrane lining the eyelids (conjunctiva)
