Pink for a Fall Wedding??!!

Regina, on October 19, 2011 at 1:07 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 10

My wedding is next Oct and I've decided that I want an all-white wedding reception and the only small touches of color will be the bridesmaids dresses and their flowers (I will be having white tree branch centerpieces with crystals and pearls hanging instead of using flowers!). I don't want a strong color like purple, red, blue, etc because I think it will throw off the all-white idea. Soooo, I have kind of decided that I either want to incorporate taupe/champagne or blush pink as the color. I really like the blush pink (pink has always been my fave color since I was a little girl) but I wonder if the blush pink and the white wedding reception will look too pale, dull, and just too light for a fall wedding. Would taupe look better?

Sounds beautiful! It is YOUR wedding, you pick the colors and anything else that suits your fancy. Congrats by the way. :0)

Just because its a Fall wedding doesn't meant you have to have fall colors. I LOVE the blush pink and white idea! We're using rose petal pink and clover green for our Spring wedding.

"You can have whatever you like" When I read the title I frowned bc pink is my least fav color in the world but I think all white with hints of blush will be really pretty. Good Luck

All white for a wedding is never dull or out of place. I think that pink is always a great color. Try to use a light pink that has a brown undertone. Think blush! Mix this with champagne and the white and you have a romantic fall wedding. Also when choosing white make sure it is not a stark white this will also take away the spring feeling you may be worried about hope this helps!!

Those are my same colors- Pink, white, ivory, silver. I will mostly have White, with pink bridemaids dresses and light pink accents. I am having different shades of light pinks in the flowers and what not. Silver as an accent color.

    I love the colors together.

I have an early fall wedding but knew I wanted ivory (hydrangeas) and pink (lavender pink orchids). Go with what you want - this is a special day in your life and you should surround yourself with the colors that make you happy!
