Pittsburgh cookie table planning

I would think 3-4 weeks would be ok to start baking. So maybe line up help 2 months before. Depending on how many you have helping and how many dozen you'll be making.

Are you having a bakery make them? I would call and ask what their average lead time is.

I’m planning to ask several friends and family to help.

I'm always so jealous I don't live in pburgh for this!

FMIL wanted to take charge of this operation. She had me put her contact information on our wedding website for those interested in contributing to the Cookie Table.

I am originally from the Pittsburgh area. I now live in Reno,NV where we will be married. We are doing a cookie table. No one out here had heard of this but everyone is super excited. Several friends and family here are excited to be a part of it. I asked several months ago (for June wedding). I will be reconfirming about 6-8 weeks prior. We will have cards ( like escort cards) made to identify the cookie and baker.

I helped bake for my cousins wedding 3 Years ago. We started baking about 2 months before and froze most of them. I’m planning on doing the same for mine next year.

I would suggest 2 months prior. This way you can see how many cookies and types. Good luck! yummy!
