Place Card Signage Wording Ideas?

I've seen something before that said something like "choose any seat you'd like; your real place is on the dance floor!"

"place cards" not everything needs a cutesy phrase, despite what pinterest says.

A place card assigns a seat.

An escort card assigns a table.

Are you giving table assignments along with the cards? If not that would be very confusing, and a cute sign won't explain it.

A lot of my guests won't know the difference between a place card and an escort card, hence the need for a sign. They will all be wondering where their seat / table is, if not directed to pick one themselves.

I guess I am doing neither a place card or an escort card, because I am not assigning tables or seats. Basically, I just want more decor, and I want people to feel comfortable that their spot is saved at the table they choose.

Ok - you are just wanting to pinterest up your wedding. No one thinks their place is going to get stolen, a sign would be confusing, so will place cards that don't give people a place. Just skip it all.

Please refer to the name of this discussion for what I was hoping to achieve here. Whether or not someone thinks my decoration is pointless is another discussion entirely.

I disagree with Jacqui722... Briana I think a sign like you say and the cute saying will explain it clearly. Obviously their wont be a table number or anything on the place card or the tables so with that cute saying I don't see how people can get confused. You can even have a bridesmaid stand there for a minute and guide guest or if she hears someone say "I don't get it," she can explain but I don't think you even need to have someone do that.
