Places for bachelorette party 18+

Sarah, on July 19, 2018 at 10:29 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 8
I am helping plan the bachelorette party for a bride who is only 20. The rest of the group is 21+. The bride really wants to go to a place she can go to a few clubs. We obviously know she cannot drink. Can anyone recommend any cities that allow people under 21 to enter clubs or bars? I am having a hard time finding places that allow people in who are under 21. We live in Florida, so we can drive or fly if it’s not too expensive.

When I lived in Charlotte, NC many places would have college night. So people 18-21 could get in, they would just get an X on their hand so they couldn’t drink. Maybe try searching for college nights in/near your town.

After some very brief research, I noticed that there are bars/clubs that do 18+ nights specifically. You could call around to see if any of the local bars and clubs do that. There are cities all over the US that have bars and clubs with 18+ nights so you don't really need to travel anywhere special. Alternatively, if you have a higher budget and/or more time, a trip to Mexico would allow her to bypass the USA's drinking age entirely.

Hi Sarah! I know that most major cities have a few clubs where they allow 18-20 year olds in with an X on their hand so they cannot drink! I've seen this in D.C, Atlanta & New Orleans but I'm sure they have everywhere! What are some places you all have thought of going?

I assume in your area there are some 18+ up clubs. I grew up in San Diego and now live in Denver, both have 18+ clubs and other clubs have 18+ nights.

Don't know if it's in your budget, but you could look into a cheap cruise. I went to college in South Florida and took a cruise when I was 20 and one when I was 21, but with 20 year olds. The cruises were really cheap, you can obviously drink on the islands at 20, and it was incredibly easy to get 20 year olds drinks on the ship. Plus, the clubs and bars on the ship are all 18+ so getting into places isn't an issue.

Montreal? The scene would be terrific for a bachelorette, and the drinking age is 18. Added bonus for Francophones/Francophiles. (Though you can definitely get by on just English.)

    Hey Sarah!!

I've also heard of many clubs that allow 18-20 year olds but mark their hands with two giant X's. I know that such places exist in Providence and Boston! I also love Danielle's idea of going to Montreal!

Where you ended up having the bachelorette party?! I would love to hear the details!!
