Places to go for a honeymoon

Depends what you like to do, when you want to go and how much you want to spend

What kind of honeymoon are you looking to have? Relaxed or adventurous? Warm or cooler weather? In the country or out of the country? There’s many options but it would be easier to give recommendations if we had more of an idea of what you were looking for!

The Caribbean. Sandals has beautiful all inclusive resorts. We were married and honeymooned there in October.

Depends on what you want & budget. We’re going to Jamaica to a Sandals resort. I scored a honeymoon suite 1 bedroom villa with a butler for 7 days for $3949 (that’s for both of us)!

This all completely depends on what you both *like* to do.

Are you beach people? City people? Theme park people? Camping and hiking people?

Honeymoons are a chance to take a highly personalized vacation with a side of romance.

DH and I went to Disney and Universal, because I hadn't been to Disney since I was *7*... and DH had never been to World (only Land). In addition, I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. (DH is an amazing husband, in that he happily walked around Universal with someone wearing more HP gear *than the staff*.)

Also, budget? How far are you willing to travel? Passport travel, or domestic only?

I agree with the other commenters! I think it depends on the type of honeymoon you’re looking for. If you’re looking for more of a romantic/relaxed/beach getaway I’d recommend Hawaii, Bahamas, Jamaica, etc. If you’re looking for a more adventurous/active getaway I’d recommend Colorado, California, etc.
