Were you and your spouses planning a 2020 pregnancy before the Covid 19 panic? Have you decided whether or not you're going forward with trying to conceive? What was your thinking or deciding factor behind your decision? I feel like this may be a needed discussion. I don't believe it's as simple as...

I feel like this may be a needed discussion. I don't believe it's as simple as "don't bring a child into this world during a crazy time"

It's going to be the first baby in both sides. So I know everyone was just excited to see the baby.

Gotcha! That is special! But rest assured, baby will be spoiled rotten the second everyone gets their hands on him/her 💕💕 plus silver lining, thankfully we live in the time of video chat. Good luck with everything and thanks for commenting!

To give you an update, I had my pre-conception meeting with the gyno and my husband. She told me that she doesn’t recommend that we start trying now because studies show that COVID can be passed to the baby and that there isn’t enough research/data to see how it affects the baby.

That being said, she told me to start taking prenatal vitamins and that we will play it by ear regarding when to start trying. We think that by the summer and fall the virus won’t be affecting everyday lives, meaning we can start trying then. This is giving us the time to mentally prepare for this next chapter in our lives!

My fiance and I are getting married in July (even if covid19 makes us limit the wedding to 10 people). My fertile window is the week after the wedding and we had planned to start trying right away (we even choose our wedding date in correlation to my cycle!)! We are not making any changes in our plans until we see what the world is like in 3 months. Thinking about our future is the only thing keeping me sane right now, and at least for the next couple months I'm going to allow myself to think that everything is still going to be able to happen, and get more realistic as July approaches lol. I appreciate having this community to share our stresses with! Best of luck everyone!! Smiley heart
