Oh that’s great! I was a bridesmaid in a wedding with wine color, and it at least helps hide spills haha

Totally experienced the same thing until I sat him down and said if I’m planning a wedding by myself and doing all the work, it’s going to be the wedding of my dreams and not yours. Since he wants a big wedding and I don’t, he immediately became more helpful.

    Hello!

I am planning my own wedding and it’s best that way because I’m a bit of a “control freak”. Things have been great so far, I have created an excel spreadsheet with all the tasks, vendors, deposits, balance, and any important days. Each week I color code things I need to get done. This week was favors, and invites. Got them both done.
    My wedding is July 5th.
Don’t let things stress you, do it in bite sizes.

My fiancé and I are planning our 100 guest wedding ourself. We haven’t found the process stressful at all; minus COVID-19 nonsense which is basically just income and postponing. Our venue is basically all inclusive so I’m sure that helps. I’d research timelines or use the one suggested by wedding wire and follow it. Take notes and keep track of where you are.

I am planning my own....it gets stressful if you let it. I delegate a lot of tasks to my bridesmaids. I utilize this app and the knot and my ex maid of honor had purchased me the knot wedding planner book.

I'm getting married May 2021 and planning by myself. it is very stressful at times and overwhelming, especially with things being closed for covid-19. I lean on my bridal party a lot for opinions and advice.

Doing all on our own and it's awful. I hate to spend the money on a a planner but goodness I have A. D. D and it's not pretty. So I'm always doing a great amount of stuff with really completing anything. It's hard with work and Covid . I'm so close to eloping but so many people are expecting a invite and I really do not want to not have a wedding with guests and a party. I just hope Covid is not gonna ruin stuff regardless of what I do next September

That’s also a great way to do it! I started out with a notebook, but I realized if my FH wanted to add anything he would also need the notebook. Sheets really helped us because now everything is organized and in one place.
