Question: we are diying most of our wedding. We made our menus, place cards, table cards, and our seating arrangement, and we are making our ceremony program.

Should they match? For instance, our invitation has purple watercolor flowers and same with our seating arrangement card, but our place cards and our menus are white flowers. I keep looking at it over and over again. Little details are very hard to deal with and I'm trying my best, but my anxiety and obsessive behaviors are causing little to get done.

I don't know what challenges or feelings go into planning a wedding while struggling with OCD, and I'm not very informed on it:

My advice as a bride is to step back as much as you can from wedding planning, maybe take a break for a week. Every guest is different, and if they even notice the little details, they'll either like them or they won't.

Do the style of the flower images match? If they're both watercolor but different colors, I wouldn't notice a difference as a guest.

The most important part of this whole wedding thing is the marriage. It's a celebration of your love and happiness, and as a bride, remembering that and enjoying it is your most important job!

Thanks for updating your details/title. I understand where you were coming from but this is a hair trigger topic for me, as I'm used to being surrounded by people who use my disorder flippantly. That said, if they're causing you anxiety I do think they should match. Mine are going to match as well.

@Jessica I'm also a "checker", it's exhausting. I'm so glad my FS accepts it even when they don't understand it.
