Hi! I am new to these forums and have been using wedding wire to connect with different venues. I am from the Chicago suburbs but live in Florida. I am looking to get married in May 2020 in Chicago but it is very difficult to coordinate this. I am 26 years old and don’t have many people to help me with planning. Most venues offer some help but I foresee a major future issues. Any suggestions?

If your budget allowed it, would you consider getting a wedding planner to help with the planning? It’s possible to get a planner who helps with the entire wedding, or offer some partial planning services (7 Types of Wedding Planners and What They Do). This could really alleviate stress and get ahead of any major future issues you’re afraid of arising from you not being in the area.
