We are doing a vow renewal in 2024 and I have already booked a venue that will cover the food and everything as well. It's not too early and they should be able to book you in now for it Smiley smile

As others have said, you might not want to get your dress yet. Dresses generally change each season, so a dress you like now might not be available in a year. The upside is that if you start shopping now, you have even more options.

The 2 most important things that you should have is venue and dress now you cant really asked the venue if they can keep this on hold because they want a deposit. So way out the amount of the venue's spaces and compare on what they both are offering before definitely putting down a deposits because some of the space want you to rent alot of the things from table liens to dance floor tables and meals if is a sitdown meals or buffets to your wedding cake and flowers ,centerpieces its can add more to your budget. And your wedding dress may need to add something or letting out alterations jewelry and shoes. Then

Hi, I’m also planning a 2024 wedding. As of right now, we are saving and setting up a budget and searching out ideal venues. We plan to soon tour the venues in case we need to cross any off our list or see if they align in our budget.
