Mine is September 2022 I already have venue, photographer & make up. With a lot of brides having to cancel and re book - I wanted to book as early as possible. 3 of the 5 make up people I talked to were already booked for my date.

I’ll start looking at dresses closer to a year out.

My wedding is end of October 2022 and I have venue, photographer, florist and hair and makeup booked. We have our menu picked out, a tentative guest list made, tentative seating chart made and I already went dress shopping once and will be going in a few weeks again to try on more and hopefully buy a dress.

My wedding is September 2022. I actually started browsing venues before we even got engaged, in March. But now we have venue, photographer, dj, and hair booked. We've narrowed it down to 2 florists and almost have our officiant booked. I went to my first dress appointment this weekend and have another one next weekend.

Lots of vendors are booking up for 2022 so I wanted to get all of the big stuff locked down before there were no options left.

I'm Sept 2022 and we have venue (which includes food/drink), photographer, videographer, photo booth, dj, florist, hotel block and my wedding dress. I'm in touch with hair and makeup but haven't booked and we're working on officiant/ceremony music as well.

We made a rough draft guest list and budget before venue shopping. I also know our colors, what the plan is for bridesmaids dresses (using azazie in a specific color), and have bought a few decor things.

My wedding is Dec 2022 and we've picked venue and colors, started our guest list and I’ve already started looking at dresses. My favorite dress I’ve found so far will take 5-6 months to receive once ordered. I say no reason to wait.

As others have said, next year is THE year for covid rescheduled weddings (assuming nothing changes). Since you have a pretty popular date, I would start sooner rather than later on big vendors!

We're September 2022, we have our venue (reception/ceremony and includes open bar and catering) DJ (which includes our photo booth and officiant), photographer, and my dress, an acquaintance/friend owns a hair salon and already has my wedding date penned in for hair/makeup . We already started buying some decor stuff, and are planning on doing sola wood flowers for bouquets.

We figured with all the 2020/2021 cancellations and rebookings 2022 would book up fast so we wanted to get everything down as soon as possible.

Start planning what you can now because there will be ALOT of weddings for 2022 due to COVID for postponing a lot from 2020 and 2021. See what your options are, see if you need to hire a wedding planner, write down what you want, write down your budget, book what you can because a lot of venues and vendors are going to be booked, try on dresses so you can see what you like and if you need to order THE ONE (this may take awhile to come in and then alterations take awhile too), etc. Wedding Wire has a timeline that you can follow according to when your big day is. My wedding is May 15, 2022 and I’ve had most of it planned for a few months. We already have the venue, florist, photographer, musician, hair stylist and makeup artists booked. I also have my dress and veil paid for. Invitations are done. Mini-moon is booked and half paid for. The only things we have left to do are order the cake, get the grooms suit, and secure a spot for dinner after.
