Depending on the candy maybe some sort of backet like a cute wire one in your colors or maybe even tin ons painted your colors

You could do all shapes and sized of silver plate serving pieces....from trays, bowls and pitchers, to stands and vases. Fill em up to the brim and have little scoops in each one. You can go to thrift stores and swap meets and pick up items for a few dollars each. This could be very elegant, and if you put candles on the table too it will reflect in the silver and be really pretty.

You could do colored metal pails in your wedding colors in different sizes and have scoops in those. This could be casual and fun, or elegant if you used muted colors like ivory, pale pink or throw in some black for interest. You can add flowers in pails as well, or those taller metal vases that are also painted. Add some candles and it would look really pulled together.

You could do wooden bowls or baskets.

I would make sure the table you use has risers under the table cloths so that you can have some height variance for visual interest.

    Good luck!

I was just at...Wallyworld! Walmart carries some new Rubbermaid containers look like canisters you could display on your kitchen counter. They seal with a rubber gasket inside the lid which locks with a knob on top. They are comparable in looks to the glass vases/containers many use for candy tables. Keep the lids stored away for display, pop back on to carry any left overs home, use in the new home afterwards - win-win!
