Plastic plate chargers?

I really want chargers for our reception. Our round tables will have champagne satin linens. I was looking at renting gold chargers. I really like the glass ones with the gold beaded edges. But they were 5 dollars a piece to rent! And the regular gold ones were 2.50. Just seems like a big expense... I found plastic ones from the dollar store and they look nice in photos I am just worried about it looking cheap. Has anyone used plastic chargers?

Look at koyal wholesale. I bought some glass ones. The more you spend increases the discount price as well. I don't like most of the plastic chargers because they do look cheap, but I have been to events with gold ones and they didn't look too shabby. I think it really comes down to color.

Hobby lobby has nice looking ones that are plastic. In my local bridal fb group I know a TON of people have used the dollar tree ones. Also check out Webstaurantstore.com !
