Please help! Ahh which dress???

Jenn, on May 7, 2020 at 8:34 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 27
Hello!
End of May 2021 bride, here! Smiley smile

I'm having trouble picking which wedding dress we like more and thought it would be a great idea to get opinions from people that's not emotionally involved in my life lol. Only my MOH and my mother has seen me in my dresses and we wanted to keep it that way until the wedding day, so its been hard! My MOH lives overseas so it has been a lot of photos and videos of the dresses that I've tried.
These photos are from the "try at home" programs, so they aren't my perfect size or length, and the "option B" dress is the wrong color. If I choose the B dress, it would be ordered in white.
I thought it would be good to get some opinions from people, just purely based on the looks of the dress and without explanation of the pros and cons of the dresses.
Thanks so much in advance!!Please help! Ahh which dress??? 1

I personally like a. BUT those are also three very different styles- a very personal decision. I choose a b/c it flatters you’re body, it has just enough detail making it simply romantic being a dress future kids may be like “ew mom I can’t believe you wore that” ( that’s literally what I think about haha), and it’s a bit modern as well!

Hope this helps! I like all three though so I think you have a hard decision to make! Good luck.

I love B and C. A reminds me of my favorite nightgowns. B and the white dress will flatter your figure more with petticoat that spreads the flare part knee to ankle more. Emphasize your curves above, and show off the shaped lace hem. If you get either of them, get the petticoat before you go to get it hemmed. Petticoat oat push a gown outward enough at the feet to affect hem 1-2 inches. That spread also keeps you from stepping on your lace gown edges as you walk or dance. Beautiful lace embellishments on b and c

Lol I think about that too! And I would hate to look back and think it looks outdated!
The third dress is actually the same as the second dress! I wasn't able to try on the all white version of the second dress as it was not available for the try at home program so I attached a picture of a real life bride!
But like you said, I do love the romantic vibe of the A dress!!

Yes! The B and C (they are the same dress, different color, I would get the white!) come with a mermaid petticoat when the dress is ordered! The A dress also comes with a petticoat that fits the dress line when its ordered!
(They just don't send it for the try at home programs)
I agree with you on embellishments too! Thanks for your input!!

Good that they include a petticoat. But your dress is not a mermaid, and don't let them GI you one. Lots of shops make that mistake, and I used to have a huge number of of alteration requests where that was the problem. Right petticoat, no problem. You have a fitted dress with a trumpet skirt. That means it starts to flare our just above the knee, low on thigh, and does so gradually. Mermaid skirts start to flare between the fullest part of the calf, at least 4 inches below the knee, and a few inches above the ankle. And flares out quite suddenly. Very big difference . Make sure yours starts to flare where the skirt does, at or above the knee, gently.

I Love Dress C. I Think It's A Bit More "Mature" Of A Dress Then The Others

This is the one they include for that dress! Is that the right one?
And this website makes custom sizes so I would be getting the dress made to fit. I did ask them before if they consider the petticoat in mind when they make our custom size and they said yes!

Does not look like the right proportions to me.
They need to make your dress. Then inside out, measure waist to first gusset or widening then from there to 2 inches above higher section of hem.

I personally would probably wear A myself but i think B and C look better on you because it flatters your figure
