Plus One Settings

Holly, on October 29, 2020 at 10:17 PM Posted in Account Support 1 3

Does anybody know if there is a setting which allows guests to add their own plus ones instead of having to enter each plus one myself?

    Hi Holly!

Guests cannot make any changes to the guest list itself. However, you can link a guest named 'Plus One'. Then, on the RSVP page you can add a note requesting that those bringing a plus one enter their name in the note section of the RSVP form. This way you are easily able to go back and edit the guest's name in your guest list. Here is our Support article that will help you with this.

Wow. It might be a good idea to implement a feature in which you could turn the setting on to allow guests to enter in their own because it can be a lot of extra work for the bride. I personally would find it easier if there were a setting or feature which allowed this. Thank you for your help.

I think why they don't have that feature is because you have family members who would just add one (or more than one) PO that they didn't have. This way you have more control over the guest count. I personally would be nervous if they added an option for people to add their own plus ones. That was a common complaint with old fashioned RSVPs was people would add guests who weren't invited.
