Polaroid Guestbook

Haydee, on October 25, 2017 at 5:41 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 17

Has anyone done a Polaroid guestbook for their wedding? I thought it would be something really cute to look back at on and maybe something fun for my guests to do.

I did it! Our guests loved it. My sister in law who is 13 wanted to be in charge of taking pictures so we let her. I bought a book from Michaels and changed a few things, bought polaroid picture holders from Michaels also then bought the polaroid from Target for $60.

I had a bunch of empty pages so I've continued to take pictures with the camera of my husband and I doing things around the house, being silly, or on trips since we got married and continue to add to it. I'm really happy that I did it!

My stepsister did that for her wedding and it was a big hit! It was a lot of fun too.

My brother did it for his and I loved it. I will likely do the same thing but have props for folks to use if they choose to.

I just helped a friend do it. You need to make sure you have someone at the table because if not guest (mostly kids) will just start playing around with the camera.

Went to a wedding with this and it was a great idea! The only thing is the film can get pricey (in addition to the camera itself), but if you have it in the budget I say go for it!

I was thinking of doing this, but we are getting a Photo booth instead and it will come with 2 copies of each photo strip, one for the guest and another will go in a guest book they provide. I will have a table with pens set up next to the photo booth as well.

I was planning on this so they could take the picture and write a note.

We did one! It wasn't too expensive. We bought the Polaroid camera for like $60 from Walmart. Film was around $12 for 20 I think. we bought around 100ish for 90 guests figuring most would take group pics. then we bought some pretty gold tape and nice pens and a guestbook from Etsy. We made a little station with instructions in a picture frame of how to use the camera and had a basket with the tape, pens, extra film, etc. it ended up working out really well and I love looking back at the guestbook and seeing the photos Smiley smile

Thanks everyone!! I think I'm gonna do it! I have a Polaroid so it's a start. I will definitely get someone to be in charge that way my guest won't have difficulty taking pics. Thanks for sharing! Smiley smile

I've been thinking of doing this as well but, I was unsure. I think it also depends on your crowd. Smiley smile

We did it! Guests loooved it! Our guestbook was from Etsy. The camera and film we got from amazon. We got props too. It basically doubled as a guestbook station as well as a photo booth for people! It worked out great and definitely saved us money. We did not need anyone manning the table.
