Polite way to follow-up Wedding Hair

Sabrina, on July 4, 2021 at 1:21 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 2
So I need options on how to phrase a follow-up message to my FOH sons girlfriend who offered to do my hair and make-up for the wedding. We did the trial and I didn't like the make-up so I sent her a message stating that I was gifted my make-up from a former classmate (esthetic school). I stated in the message I would still love for her to do my hair and help me cover one of my tattoos. Well she never responded. Now the wedding is 41 days away and I don't know what to think. She wasn't going to charge me or anything as she isn't a true hair professional (went to cosmology school only). I just need help with how to phrase the follow-up message without sounding rude but also want to give her an easy out. However, I also need to know now if she is going to do it so I can find someone else. Any advice on how to phrase it is appreciated!

How about “Hey Jane (if that’s her name), I’m just working on wedding stuff & wondering if your offer to do my hair is still on? I totally understand if you can’t but need to know if that’s the case. “

I think Michelle's wording is great! You can also say something like "I'd still love it if you could do my hair for the wedding! Just wanted to check in and see if that still works for you!"
